This series contains the working files of the State Auditor, which were created in the day-to-day administration of the office. The series includes duplicate copies of department payrolls, copies of requisitions and purchase orders, copies of the department budget, and copies of leave reports. Also included are correspondence concerning appointments to the County Board of Registrars, copies of letters to the Treasurer from state banks concerning securities, duplicate copies of minutes and agenda of the Board of Adjustment and Ala. Educational Authority, and office bills for 1960.
